Becket Pageant for London (“BPFL”) is an unincorporated, not-for-profit association established for the sole purpose of delivery of this event. It operates under the auspices of The Skinners' Malmesbury Foundation (“Malmesbury”) (reg. charity no 1059101), a charitable arm of The Skinners’ Company, managed by the Charities Team at Skinners Hall.
BPFL operates under its own constitution setting out aims, powers and management. The Management Committee comprises Emmeline Winterbotham (Chairman); Mark Spofforth OBE, Past President ICA (Hon. Treasurer); Charles Doyle (Head of Fundraising); and John Townley (Finance Manager). Malmesbury provides administration of BPFL funds (which are ring-fenced and separately accounted for) and shall collect, hold and distribute monies on behalf of and as directed by BPFL.
Surplus funds raised through the Pageant will go towards Youthscape, a national charity working for the benefit of all young people, and nominated by The Most Revd Justin Welby, Archbishop of Canterbury.
Steering Group: The BPFL is guided by a Steering Group as follows: Emmeline Winterbotham (Chair and Creative Director), Sir Andrew Parmley (Rt Hon.Lord Mayor of London 2016-17), Mark Chambers (Livery Crafts Fair), Mark Spofforth OBE (Hon Treasurer), Tim Bacon, Pamela Taylor (Education Outreach), Charles Doyle, Andrew Marsden.
Creative and Production Team: Creative Director and Writer Emmeline Winterbotham, Composer and Music Director Vahan Salorian, Choreographer Sian Williams, Production Management Stuart Webb and Claire Butcher.
